New Photo of the Month - April, 2007
By Angus Grant on Sunday, May 27, 2007

My sister's friends had an EP launch for their band Fuscia at the press Club in Brisbane. They are a really funky group, and the lead singer has a brilliant voice. A really good time and I wish my knee was up to boogying, but it is on the road to recovery, so perhaps next time. A shot of a guest acoustic guitarist they had on the night.

Have a listen to some of their songs at http://www.myspace.com/fusciagrooves

The first sunset of 2007. This was taken just after dinner on New Years Day. Quite a glorious pink in the clouds and cky. I need to work on my saving technique for the web to make sure the colours remain

By Angus Grant on Thursday, January 11, 2007
Some friends and I went up to Somerset for the weekend of New Years Eve. We had a bit of a party on the 30th, and I stayed up to take some photos of the sunrise. This photo turned beyond all expectations, considering how much partying I had done.

Canon 400D + lens received
By Angus Grant on Monday, September 11, 2006
I received my 400D plus lens yesterday. I really love my little 50mm 1.8. I was wandering round the unit taking photos without flash at ISO 400, and they looked clear and not too noisy. Bokeh looks fairly nice but really need to get some shots onto my computer to see the results properly. Expect some test photos and a review this weekend.
